9 Months Old!

Boy oh boy where does the time go???  Laura is 9 months old. She had a check up this month and is now 28" long and weighs 24.12 lbs !!

This month Laura:
-learned to sit up on her own
-now pulls herself to a standing position
-said/repeated her first word "Uh Oh"
-loves to feed herself with finger foods and has occasionally demanded control of the spoon to "help" put the food in her mouth (so far her favourite finger foods are broccoli flowerettes, cooked carrot, cooked apple slices, and crackers)
-has started to crawl!!  Mind you it is a 3-point crawl (she drags one leg), but she is getting to be very quick!
-loves magazines! (looks for pictures of babies or dolls, loves to rip the covers off)
-started using a sippy cup

After trying to get her to stay still in the chair, I tried the floor...seemed to work out nicely.

We tried again on the chair and this time added Mr. Turtle, of whom she is quite fond of these days.

"Oh... you wanted a funny face mom.. why didn't you just say so!"

So proud of pulling herself up and standing with one hand!
