A stay in the hospital

Laura has been fighting a cold (which then turned into a an ear infection) for quite some time. On Monday I took her back to the doctor as her fever returned. This time we saw a different physician and, after quick but thorough check-over, we were sent directly to the hospital for a consultation with a pediatrician. Laura was then diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted. Laura stayed in hospital from Monday evening to Thursday noon. She had oxygen for a while and an IV with very powerful antibiotics for the duration of her stay. Laura did pretty well; unfortunately, Laura's IV was in her foot, so she was not allowed to stand or walk. Laura is doing much better now, but still has cold/cough that we have to closely monitor so she doesn't take another turn for the worse.
